Manuscript in Beta! And conference in less than a month...

The alpha read feedback was immensely helpful (thanks Shad!), and now I'm so excited to get feedback from my beta readers! The first wave is due back tomorrow then I'll make edits and send the next version to the second wave team with first three chapters due back to me July 1 - those go in my proposal for the agent I'm pitching to, due to the Realm Makers conference administrator on July 6 (bites cuticles) - and the rest of the chapters due back to me July 11. Then just a few days to finalize everything for the July 16-18 virtual conference.

I've doubled my caffeine consumption this week with working full-time and creating my website and working on the proposal into the wee hours every night. Bet that week before the conference will see record coffee and tea consumption. And trail mix. Must stock up on trail mix.

Oh, yeah, and practice, practice, practice that pitch via Zoom...Those who know me know quite well the effect of aiming a camera of any sort in my direction. Now, there's a lofty goal: learn to not scowl at the camera. LOL
